Born on August 9th, 1988 in Harare, Zimbabwe but raised in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, Aida Ouattara is the only daughter with an older brother and a younger brother. Her early bouts with rejection and the unexpected divorce of her parents at the age of 8 greatly influenced her desire to excel in life. In 2001, she immigrated to the United States with her family and attended Roberto Clemente Junior High School where she graduated in the top 10 of her class.
